The body sculpture BC1700 exercise bike does exactly what it says on the tin.
The BC1700 isn’t packed full of useless features and unique selling points. It is a plain and simple exercise bike, which is what you’re looking for. The exercise bike is a must have for any home gym. It is low intensity and low impact making it perfect for beginners who are new to fitness and ideal for the enthusiast who is a heavy user. Just because this is the budget end does not mean it is featureless. You’ll get 8 resistance levels, a computerised display showing time, distance and those all important calories burned. You’ll also get a built in pulse rate sensor – so you can make sure you are keeping your workout to a decent intensity level.

It’s easy to assemble, operates as it should and the 8 levels of magnetic resistance provide a varied range of difficulty making it accessible to many users. Customer feedback is good, for the price range I’d say 4 stars is a solid rating. It does seem like some people were expecting a pro or gym quality piece of kit for the < £100 price tag – though the majority of buyers seem to feel that they are getting excellent value for money.
The on-board computer is a basic touch button display, giving you feedback on your workout in the form of speed, distance, time and calories. Your heart rate is detected via pulse sensors in the handle bars.
