Nordic Track Reviews 1750 Commercial Treadmill

Detailed Review of the NordicTrack 1750 Commercial Home Treadmill

Commercial treadmills from NordicTrack are big. The 1750 is 2 meters long, just short of a meter wide and 189cm tall to the tip of the electronic console. It is heavy, weighing in at an impressive 110kgs.

This is not the type of treadmill to move around too often. Fortunately, it does fold, using hydraulic assistance (Nordic Track call this ‘EasyLift’ assist – you can see it on the product page). When folded, the length reduces by more than half – saving a lot of space.

With a 152cm long running belt that is 55cm wide, this model is suitable for runners of all sizes. The big, stable safety arms on the console are another plus.

All Nordic Track fitness equipment has a warranty. This one is impressive, a huge 10 years for the motor, lifetime for the frame, and 2 years for all parts and labour. I always remind readers to register their purchase. You must do this within 28 days to trigger the warranty.

Speed With Comfort via HighTech Features

22km / hour is plenty fast enough for anyone but pro athletes. This is controlled by a 3.75CHP motor. The ‘C’ stands for continual, the horse power averaged out over time. The motor is smaller than for the 2950 models, though quiet and smooth.

You get digital incline and decline. This is controlled via the console, so you won’t need to stop and pull a lever. The incline goes up to 15%, with the decline an added extra at 3%.

Runners Flex cushioning keeps the impacts from running in check. There is a fan, which is a great touch for those more intensive / sweaty runs.

1750 Commercial with iFit

This model comes with a smaller 10-inch HD display. As you move to the 2950, you will get a 22-inch screen instead. This works with Bluetooth, connecting with iFit. This is the NordicTrack group training program. You can enjoy trainer-led workouts or find the perfect scenic run from an extensive library. You get a free trial subscription with your new NordicTrack treadmill.

One-touch controls mean no messing around when it comes to speeding up, adding (or reducing) incline, and setting the training programmes. This is designed to be fast and responsive.

There are speakers integrated into the design – so you can play your own music using a Bluetooth connection.

Feedback: What Previous Buyers Said About the 1750 Commercial Treadmills from NordicTrack?

Folding 1750 NordicTrackPositive feedback from iFit users for this machine. Not too much from UK sellers, so I went over the Atlantic to find more reviews. Those match with other Nordic Track fitness machines, with mostly positive responses, with a few super-angry people. One was upset they needed to use their credit card to get iFit access (this is free in the UK), and other had some Wi-Fi problems.

The build, size and smoothness of the runs came in for a lot of positives – with almost all the negatives involving the connections one way or another.

Nordic Track UK has excellent customer support to go with their lengthy warranties. With positive feedback overall, I saw no red flags *only a few furious people.

Wrapping Up: Is the 1750 Commercial Treadmill from NordicTrack Right for You?

If your decision is which commercial model is right, screen size is a significant difference. The newer commercial models have a 22-inch screen, compared to the ‘(tablet sized) 10-inch on this model. There is also a bigger motor and more advanced ‘reflex’ cushioning on the 2950 treadmill.

This machine folds away, which is a big plus for home users that would like to optimize their space. It is powerful, has both incline and decline and a top speed that will stretch even the keenest runners among us.

Add the quality electronics, plus 1 month free with iFit – and I am sure you will see that there is some significant value with this product.
