Summary: When you choose any fitness equipment from Nordic Track, you can be sure you are not getting the flimsy, rattling, wobbly lower end gear. The C200 lives up to this brand’s strong reputation, with a 10% onetouch incline (no need to stop to adjust this). Smooth motor and up to 20km/ hour too. Strong feedback so far – this one has a mid-range price.
Big Update: The Nordic Track treadmills range has moved on (in a positive way!), you can choose from incline trainers, commercial models plus the ‘T’ and ‘S’ ranges which are perfect for home use.

Detailed Review of the Nordic Track C2000
The main question to address here is whether the £699 (before any amazon discount) price tag is good value, when you compare this machine with the large number of models from other brands in the £300 to £400 range.
On style and looks you can see the difference. Nordic Track’s simple, angular and professional design is immediately apparent. The console area is bigger than cheaper models, with a colour display and plenty of room for your phone or iPad. Unlike many other models of this quality, the C200 does fold up too.
Mechanically, the Nordic Track C200 is hard to fault. The main extra you’ll get compared with the lower-end models is an automatic incline of up to 10%. This is ‘one touch’ and can be part of your program. If you buy a cheap home treadmill then you’ll either get no incline at all, or you’ll have to stop running, adjust the incline manually, and then start up again. The best feature for me is the ability to choose between a cushioned and a firm base for running.
The 20km / hour top speed is more than enough even for experienced runners, the larger (51cm running area) is also a positive. Nordic Track equipment has a reputation for being smooth and quiet, though I was not able to find any specific references to this in the buyer comments.
Electronics / apps compatibility is a big factor these days and you’ll be able to synch your workouts with the iFit Live brand of trackers and apps on the C200. There are specialist treadmill workouts (including incline work) there, as well as a busy fitness community.
This is a newer model, and being in the mid-range price bracket means only limited buyer feedback so far. Assembly was mentioned (easy to do alone) and there were compliments about the console too.
Conclusion: You’ll get a lot for the extra money compared to lower-end treadmills. Automatic incline, a big running area, fantastic design and choice of firm / cushioned running surface – along with the prestige / peace of mind of knowing that you bought the best quality kit for home use from Nordic Track.
