Pinty Cheap Vibration Plate Review

Pinty Cheap and Cheerful Vibration Plate Review

Mark’s Update: I’m replacing the Pinty plate with an excellent cheap vibration plate trainer from Dripex.

Dripex back up their tech with excellent service – and their starter unit will get the job done at a fraction of the price compared to rival brands.

Summary: The Pinty vibration plate is a cheap model, which gets the job done without any of the bells and whistles of the branded alternatives. If you want to try vibration plate training, or simply don’t want to shell out big money for features you’ll never use, then this model fits the bill. It comes with a remote control, resistance bands (for upper body workouts) and an LCD console. You get 99 levels of resistance, and a functional non-slip surface. While not exactly top quality, for the price point, you will get excellent value.

Detailed Review of the Pinty Cheap Vibration Plate Trainer

You get a smaller floor-based vibration plate. It is black, with curved, ergonomic design. The top has a concentric circles style grip, with the console sticking out at the back. The maximum user weight recommended by the makers is 120kgs – that is around 15 stone. At 14cms tall, it is small enough to store away easily between workouts.

There are 99 intensity levels. Even with a cheap vibration plate, the intensity of the workout will surprise some new users. Start off with lower intensity – and work up as you gain muscle tone and fitness.

You get elastic resistance bands with this plate. They clip on to either side. These are elastic, providing you with additional upper body workout options while you tone.

Pinty state that their motor is quiet – and even show a picture of the machine next to a sleeping baby! I’d put an extra caveat in here. It is quiet for the price. You will not get the super quiet action of an upper end Bluefin or Sportstech machine. Having said that, this is a budget vibration plate, and considering the price point – it is decent quality.

Console Pinty Basic Vibration Plate TrainerLCD Console and Remote Control

You get a basic console which can be used to control the speed directly. This has dual displays for time and speed. With 99 levels to get through, it is flexible enough for a wide range of different toning exercises.

It does come with a remote. Again, a basic controller which gets the job done with a minimum of fuss. If you pay a little more, you will find vibration plate exercisers with wrist-based remotes. At this price point – you will need to find a pocket.

Feedback: What Previous Buyers Said About the Pinty Budget Vibration Plate Exercisers?

Compared to the price, the feedback from owners is excellent. I’d say many comments are even more positive than for machines that cost twice as much. The lack of instructions is one gripe, along with one person who thought that their machine was not new.

On the plus side, people seemed happy with the value. Nobody expects ‘gym quality’ at this price point, which might have skewed the comments positively. Many users got the workout they were looking for, without shelling out too much cash – a win / win for all concerned.

Wrapping Up: Is this Budget Vibration Plate Trainer from Pinty Right for You?

The audience for this unit is clear. While you can spend many hundreds of pounds on a vibration plate trainer for home use – this one will get the job done at less than £100.

This means it works for anyone on a budget and is right for those that want to try out vibration plate trainers cheaply. If you like the results, there is plenty of time to upgrade to a better spec’d model later on.

It has 99 levels, a monitor, remote control, and elasticated resistance bands – that is a lot of features for a truly budget level price.
