Update: This model is no longer available… For a folding bike which can be used both upright and semi-recumbent, I recommend you check out this model from Pleny. It even comes with resistance bands, so you can give your arms a workout while you peddle.

Detailed Review of the X-Bike Folding Exercise Bike

We R Sports X-Bike is a great exercise bike to add to your home gym. The colour options mean that you can add a little bit of flair to your home gym or perhaps fit the X-Bike into your current colour scheme. There is no getting away from the top feature, this bike folds! This is rare for exercise bikes. To be fair this does not make it tiny, though the space saving is enough to be worthwhile.

Assembly is straightforward and the machine is pretty light making it easy to move around and get it in the right spot. The fact it is foldable is perfect for storing away when not in use. A lot of machines claim to be foldable, but not all of them truly are. The X-Bike genuinely is and it’s a great feature for a home gym machine.

The on-board computer is clear, easy to read and displays all of your workout feedback. The resistance is easily altered and seat easily adjustable. This allows the machine to be customised to each user. You’ll be able to attach at tablet, great for keeping you entertained while you spin.

Many users of the X-Bike have said they were surprised how good the machine was considering the really low price. The only criticism for some is that a little more resistance would be nice, so you must bear in mind this machine is aimed at beginner and intermediate users. If you’re anything more than that you might need to look for a mid-range machine, for example the York Active 120.
