My Detailed Review of the R35 Recumbent Home Exercise Bike from NordicTrack

I simply love the style of this machine.

It is the curve under the seat that stands out first, which is mirrored by the curved front unit – which puts the stunning HD screen in the perfect place. Everything is adjustable (see below). The base is long, with wide supports making this unit stable. For me, the grey and black styling is not too brash or ‘space age’ – giving a professional, subtle style that is distinctively NordicTrack.

This is a bigger recumbent bike. It is 170cm long, 37cm wide and 74cm tall to the top of the console. Expect your delivery to weigh 87kgs. NordicTrack recommend this for users up to 150kgs (a little over 25 stone).

While there are transport wheels at the front, this bike is best left in place.

Seat and Pedals:

If you are familiar with recumbent exercise bikes, you’ll already know that a comfortable seat does not mean you should compromise on the intensity of your workout. This seat is padded, ergonomic and fully adjustable. Note the angled support (the silver area under the seat). As you move towards the front, it is lower. This gives people of all heights a more comfortable peddling position.
