Summary: Never mind the sharp lines, it is the incline which will catch your eye with the NordicTrack EXP 10i Treadmill. This is their newest model. While it is instantly recognisable as NordicTrack (you can’t miss their designs), the lines are cleaner, and console has enjoyed a serious revamp. Along with the 12 degree auto-incline, you get a 22km / hour top speed, flex select cushioning, fan and easy-fold mechanism.
Best of all, you get iFit membership trial for those scenic trainer-led runs. Perfect to enjoy on the integrated 10” HD screen.

This is a bigger unit, even by NordicTrack standards. It weighs 101kgs boxed. The sturdy frame comes with a lifetime warranty. Once you have your treadmill set up, you will see that the EXP 10i is built to last.
It is 180cms long, by 99cms wide and 151cms tall. Keep in mind that the EasyLift assist makes it easy to fold up, this makes it taller, though cuts the length in half.
NordicTrack recommend this unit for users up to 136kgs – that is 21.4 stone.
The biggest style change for this new model is on the console. There are the usual silver and dark grey touches and sharp angles. EXP 10i has sweeping arms, with a surface area either side of the console and those quick one-touch buttons in front. If you compare this to the X22i or S25i treadmills, you will immediately see the improvement.
The EXP 10i matches the ‘Commercial’ treadmill range in terms of speed and incline. The spec is impressive. You get up to 22km / hour speed. That is fast enough for even the fittest runners. When you add the incline – you have a machine capable of giving you a serious workout. With up to 12% incline and 3% decline, there is enough flexibility to keep your runs varied.
Speed and incline / decline can be controlled remotely by your trainer when using iFit (see below).
NordicTrack have innovative technology right through their treadmill range. This starts inside, with Smart-Response motors. There is also FlexSelect cushioning, EasyLift assist to help fold / unfold the unit, plus an AirFlow fan, Bluetooth, and OneTouch control. You get a standard safety key system too.
Setting aside NordicTrack’s love of double-word names for their patented tech, the combination of these makes all the difference. You can find more on how they work over on the EXP 10i Treadmill page at NordicTrack.co.uk.
iFit is a streaming service which covers both NordicTrack and Proform fitness equipment. It has a lot of different features covering live workouts, video vaults, social media aspects and the ability to run around the most beautiful scenery from around the world.
You get a full month of free membership. This means you can customise workouts, track progress and keep their settings between runs. Training sessions include automatic changes to the speed and incline. Choose a programme which matches your goals and enjoy!
Keep in mind that you will need to subscribe to iFit after your trial is up.
This is a brand-new model, which means there is not the kind of feedback from long-term users that other NordicTrack machines enjoy. You can already see glowing reviews from iFit users. Some people really enjoy being pushed that little bit harder in the real time training sessions.
Overall, the NordicTrack treadmill range has fantastic feedback. People start being impressed by the looks and technology, then realise that these machines are built to last and last.
I’ll make a note to revisit this page later in the year, by then buyers will have had time to form accurate impressions of where the EXP 10i fits in.
I’m guessing this will attract a lot of ‘upgrade’ buyers who have enjoyed NordicTrack gear before and want access to the latest technology and design. The EXP10i is a commercial model. It is big, beautifully designed and has the ‘under the hood’ tech that budget brands simply can’t offer.
You get a wide, cushioned running surface, 22km / hour top speed and 12% incline. This comes into its own during the trainer-led iFit sessions. Here the speed and incline are controlled by your trainer. There are manual settings too if you prefer.
With pay monthly options, setup, and a great warranty – NordicTrack fitness equipment has never been more accessible.
